I think it was a mistake to bill it as a comedy. I didn't watch the first series because I was expecting...well, a comedy. But I watched one last week and I think it's growing on me...

it might even be 'Roger and Val have just got in' not sure. It is peculiar, just this husband and wife in their house all evening after they've finished their day's work. The characters are irritating to say the least, but pathetic irritating, not funny.

What I meant was that it was a mistake to bill it as a comedy because it isn't a comedy. I didn't laugh once but I enjoyed watching it last week, knowing that it wasn't supposed to make me laugh.

I am intrigued now.

If it doesn't clash with babies being born on channel 4 I might give it a look next week.

I like whatsername generally.

I can't find any enjoyment :wah:

Is it meant to be a representation of how a married couple carry on, it would drive me nuts. :-2

Life consists of optimists and pessimists - that statement in isolation would start eternal arguments between the two camps, a veritable holy war

And how! I've been on the receiving end of criticisms from couples who are celebrating their 500th anniversarys.

How so? They're responsible for their lives, not yours.

I don't think Rog is being completely honest with Val...is that friend on FB really someone from uni days?

I suppose it would help if I'd seen the first series

I watched the babies......was busy doing other things tonight as well so wasn't really in to it.

And it doesn't clash, I managed to see a few moments................nah.....not my thing.

It is possible that you have to watch it a few times to enjoy it......but it didn't do anything for to make me want to.

I shall not be rushing to see it again.
