Skinny jeans lead to lower back pain and yeast infections

Having a hard time convincing your friend that skinny jeans make them look crazy? Try relaying this information and see what happens.

Wall Street Journal reports that tight fitting clothes lead to a myriad of health problems. Skinny jeans for instance lead to lower back pain and yeast infections in women. They also lead to something called lipoatrophia semicircularis, a rare condition where horizontal lesions appear around the thighs.

The report also says that body shapers, when worn for too long, can lead to nerve compression, digestive issues and they keep the lungs from fully inflating, cutting down oxygen intake, which can lead to lightheadedness. It was also noted that 67% of men wear shirts that are smaller than their neck sizes and since they are rarely washed, can transfer infections.

While high heel shoes have already been known to be painful, the report also points out that wearing flats can be bad for your health. Flat shoes without arch support may lead to plantar fasciitis, or inflammation in the band of tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot.

The report went on to list a number of things that will probably have you scared to wear clothes altogether. But the main thing to walk away with from this is to leave the skinnies alone once and for all.
