Despite my years I enjoy a wide range of music except Country Western, particularly the nasal variety.
We have a "Bose Music System" with AM/FM and four slot CD. It seems that all I can get on any of the many FM stations is what I call ANGRY MUSIC. Where are the soft and gentle sounds of either instruments or voice? Unintelligible and repetitious lyrics is what I am hearing. I'm happy to have CD's.

I know what you mean. Several years back I switched credit cards, for both business and personal, to one that pays "rewards" in iTunes gift cards instead of air miles. I've never been sorry that I did that.
I imported my CDs into the library and made many different playlists for different moods and tastes. My vehicle can play from USB memory sticks, with a choice of playlists, so I don't have to rely on local radio stations.
Today, it is folk revival from the '60s.

I dunno, Fuzzy.
He lives in California.
Last time I was there, I couldn't find a decent radio station on the car radio, to save my neck.
