We have a visitor in the floating harbour... Mogambo arrives in Bristol Harbour on maiden voyage | Superyacht World

I wonder whether they'll tout for trips round the bay. Ilfracombe and back by 10pm, that sort of thing. If I'm passing the gangplank tomorrow I'll ask.

How it fitted round the corners of the River Avon getting up here I can't imagine.

No such thing as davits spoiling her lines, did you notice the "dayboat" in it's own locker at the stern? That's as big as most people have for their main craft!

Ah! I guess spending one's weekends at one's marina might skew perceptions somewhat.

OK, amongst us boatyfolk that dingey would make a fair size boat all on its own - is that betterer :-)

I have had my moments Danson Park, Serpentine.....Butlins.

I saw that movie, I believe Clark Gable was in it. Never cared much for Gable.
