Man the taste is awful but it works with indigestion. I haven't thrown up since I had mononucleosis in 1977, but apple cider vinegar gets me damn close.

Your post made me laugh! Apple cider vinegar isn't a taste everyone appreciates! I assume you're diluting it. It has a lot of health benefits so be brave! :yh_wink

I hold my nose very tightly and swig, then i pace the house (still holding my nose) trying to walk away the taste. The beauty of the stuff though is that it's effects last for months usually - thank goodness!

But that's not as much fun as watching other people swallow vinegar!

I mix It with a little mustard and some Olive Oil for a lovely salad dressing.

I should have said "I've never swallowed straight vinegar before"... I have had it in salads, and you're right, it's delish.

Seriously, is it recommended to drink vinegar ?

It is acid.

Stir in a teaspoon of honey & you will receive far more benefits than just a cure for indigestion.

I remember as a 15 year old having my Chef screaming at me when caught swigging back a small serving sized carton of vinaigrette/French Dressing , as it had vinegar in it and it could harm me......according to him.

Perhaps it neutralises alkali as an indigestion aid......but what do I know?

Perhaps it neutralises alkali as an indigestion aid......but what do I know? Being raised In a semi rural area, my mother used Vinegar for bee and wasp stings.... apparently It drew out the sting. And she used It to kill sheep ticks on the Dogs and cats, I can remember her soaking some cotton wool In vinegar. dabbing the tick and within an hour, It died, shrivelled up and fell away.

So why would you serve something harmful to customers then? What a fruitcake.

Because you don't swallow it in one hit, it coats your salad.

If you were to take the salt that is dispersed throughout your french fries it might make you gag a bit ?
