The Krishna-Baladeva Mantra

Post by rajakrsna »

It`s an updated version of Lord Chaitanya`s Hare Krishna Maha Mantra to honor Lord Nityananda. The Krishna Balarama Mantra goes this way, " Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare/ Bala Rama Bala Rama Rama Rama Bala Bala."

The name Bala is a Cebuan word for bul·let

1. A usually metal projectile in the shape of a pointed cylinder or a ball that is expelled from a firearm, especially a rifle or handgun.

2. Such a projectile in a metal casing; a cartridge.

3. An object resembling a projectile in shape, action, or effect.

It`s a new mantra. It doesn`t compete with the Hare Krsna maha-mantra.It goes like this: Raja Krsna Raja Krsna Krsna Krsna Raja Raja/ Raja Rama Raja Rama Rama Rama Raja Raja. It`s a tribute to the bravery of the Raja Brothers of Vijayanagara, Southern India. Described as Krsnaraja & Ramaraja, they were the only unbeaten ones who fought against the muslim invaders in the early 1500s. Southern India. This last stranglehold of Vaishnavism was ruled by the Raja Brothers, Krsnaraja & Ramaraja until their departure to other locations. Southern India was later captured by the muslim invaders led by the Sultan of Bijar.Lord Chaitanya must have been aware of the Raja Brothers` existence. His advocacy of the Hare Krsna maha mantra may have been incidental or political to encourage not discourage those hindu warriors weakened by demoraliztions to fight not give up their land against the invading muslims. If I chant Raja Krsna, it`s because I`m a fan of the Raja Brothers of Vijayanagara.

This mantra Raja Krsna Raja Krsna Krsna Krsna Raja Raja / Bala Rama Bala Rama Rama Rama Bala Bala is a healing mantra. It`s the silver bullet that will cure the ailment of ignorance & slay the werewolf of mental disorders. This mantra did not just come out of the blue. It`s the fruit of a tree whose roots began with Bilvamangala Thakur the author of the book Krishna-Krnamrta.
Om namo bagavate vasudevaya, " God is the Cause of All causes."
