Well we had some fun over 15 years didn't we?

Chasing rabbits at The Lock and Weir was your favourite.

Go chase them all now Scully with no age nor pain....

We loved you so much..........:-1

She liked cats.... she'll be doing her ' Chase me chase me ' routine with Brandy......

It's tough.... I picked her from her litter when she was just 2 weeks old and brought her home at just 8 weeks old.... Thanks

This must be so painful for you both, I'm truly sorry.

I'm so sorry, no matter how long they are with us, it's

never long enough.

I'm sure my Tamsen was there to greet her and show her

around heaven. And they are young again, and healthy.

and i want to hear some "dogs behaving badly' stories.... they tend to make us laugh.
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

Embarressing stories.... oh yes.... Let's start with when she was around 16 weeks old and so excited at visiting my Mother-In-Law for the first time.... so excited In fact, she soaked her new sofa by weeing a flood right through It...

Condolences to y'all, Oscar. Those funny stories are what keep them alive for us long after they're gone.

So the time came then, you can be assured that you did the right thing though. I remember battling with the ex husband about the right time to take a dog in to never come back, it's heartbreaking and hard to do but even harder is to watch a dog suffer for longer than they need to. Enjoy the memories, I still do many years on after loosing two springer spaniels, one of whom licked me back to reality after I'd passed out on the bathroom floor at 32 weeks pregnant, he was a great dog. Sorry for your loss.

Thanks....

The vet who came out to her was the vet who had performed surgery on her 3 times and knew her well. He was extremely compassionate and talked through some options for us so that It was us who made the decision.

No sooner than the needle went In her leg, she was gone.... It was very serene and extremely peaceful... I held her and talked to her while he Injected her and she was gone within seconds. We kissed her goodbye before we wrapped her up for him to take away. She's being collected from the vets to be privately cremated and brought back to us In a casket.

Oh Julie,

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. You and Peter have loved him so much, and he certainly knew it! He was also so luckily to be a part of your family.

Sending you and Peter lots of love and best wishes:-4

Thanks Kathy.... Yes, she certainly was very much loved.

Mulder has been rather morose tonight. It's like he knows she's gone.

It had to be done Kathy. It was for the best. She had started to feel pain.

I'll show Peter your post.... Thankyou xxxxxxxxxxxx
