Great video. We all know the powers that be are corrupt and lining their own pockets. I wish there was a way of fixing it but I don't see it in the near future.

She seems to understand more about banking than the senate banking committee.

I wonder if she is just the voice, giving an adults point of view ?

Who would listen to someone off the street, but would listen to a cute articulate 12 year old?

Someone helped her a lot to articulate her point of view. Her awareness of concepts was way beyond what I'd expect from a 12 year old but her awareness of history was purely normal educated adult New World. She had no idea that National Debt of the sort she described was the expedient whereby the UK paid for the Napoleonic Wars. She is correct as to the mechanism: the system works as long as the government revenue is sufficient to cover the interest - and while you have a booming economy as the British Empire was, or the American one, it works. But when the Business economy cannot pay the interest, then people have to be taxed directly to pay the interest. Look at the last 300 years of British History and you see an economy basically cocaining itself to death. Cocaine is a drug where you need more and more to achieve the same effect the more you use it. Here, bank loans are the cocaine and you need need more and more to achieve any effect, and the one making the money is the one destroying the system with the drug.

Please note this is not a firm opinion. It's a work in progress. But I need much more evidence before I believe that was the pure unaided work of a 12 year old consciousness, however apt to the current global economic situation.

I would just like to point out that the essay she recited was in the best traditions of what I regard as New World Educated: A truly wonderful clarity of exposition; a cutting to the chase; seeing the forest and not being distracted by the trees.

edit: And the Education can certainly be self education.
