That's really interesting. I knew we had canines over there but for some reason, it never occurred to me that we'd need to have veterinarians deployed to take care of them.

I'm very pleased to know that vets are deployed for them.

They even hold memorial services for fallen canine comrades.

That I knew about. There's also a facebook group that honors law enforcement K-9s which unsurprisingly have short life spans.
