Outdoor sex is not too popular in scotland, you have no idea how big a disincentive midges are, and sitting on a big jaggy thistle at the wrong moment could be a but nasty as well. Maybe if more dog owners let their dogs crap in the long grass the problem of what little kids might see might sort itself out. Come to think of it having a cold nose investigating the strange activity would probably help as well.

Funny enough I learnt about the bum fun on Clifton Downs by a thread on the legalities of It about 3 years ago here on FG during a debate between Spot and Fuzzy...

I learnt about It on my local common after stumbling across a large group of doggers whilst walking the dogs...

I keep telling my Turkish friend to go to these places with a burger van offering refreshments. He could make a fortune... In fact, he could have a special... like a big sausage In a bun or something. called ' A Dogger'.... He's missing a business opportuntiy there.

So one ought. The word exists for and is defined by its legal context, it's a legal term, it has no function in any other context than a law court. Whether a statement is or is not a libel is a legal question.

No-one has or Is threatening to sue the site.

Four years ago when my lawyer did Indeed want to sue, he would have sued John Harris ie Spot...... NOT the site. The site does not write the libel.

The site Is used by John Harris to prostitute his vile anti-american bile and to libel as and when he wishes with anyone who doesn't lap up every ridiculous rant he writes.

Also for the record.... It was myself who deterred the legal action four years ago because I didn't believe that Spot ie Harris deserved such time and attention. In fact, It was agreed by all concerned at the time that should Harris ie Spot ever meet me face to face, he would run and whimper like the coward he Is. It was agreed that people like Spot sit behind a keyboard tapping out their poision because they can't grow a pair of balls.

Any one who knows us here, on facebook and behind the scene's knows that Peter and I have been very happilly married for many years so no-one Is going to pay any attention to It.... Would you like to give your own understanding of what the word "libel" means? Because that's the nub of this disagreement, and it's you that's used the word today. Of course it implies that I've broken the law of the land, that's the only meaning I'm aware of. How, in your opinion, does it mean anything else?
