The shores of Lake Erie.

Tens of thousands of dead fish washed up on shore. There are lots of concerns but the major issue seems to be who pays for clean up. You know what? Just clean it up and save the bill for whoever has to pay later.

Jordan said it has not yet been decided which agency, federal, provincial or local agency will have to foot the cleanup bill.

Everyone seems to have a theory. Autopsy needed, isn't it?
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."

As you say, clean it first and allocate costs later. It has to be a health hazard.

Even without dead fish washed ashore I don't know how places like White Rock BC are deemed high profile retirement areas. The entire district smells like fish on a good day. Sure it's by the ocean but I went to that ocean with someone who wanted to have a "nice" day with me and it was horrid. I busied myself chasing clams that spit at me so I could ignore all the grossness of what I was walking on. Sandy beaches: none.
