Oliver Stone's Untold History of the US
Rumours say that the miniseries is set for tv debut in November 2012.
eta: I was testing display properties of the video insert.
That being done I'll add a bit more intro. I like Oliver Stone films. I've seen his JFK film and think it is fairly sound in presentation. I haven't seen the rest of his political trilogy, Nixon and W. Wouldn't mind getting a chance to see those before his mini-series comes out.
Apparently he invested a lot of his own money in making the "Untold History" and will likely be subjected to much criticism for it. He'll be called a revisionist by those who he claims to be revisionists. History is a tricky thing.
currently enjoying this interview with Mr. Stone.

Dude, you can't quote yourself as a source. lmao
Oliver Stone's Untold History of the US
Maybe he's CIA because making people question their own government is a secret way of making people think their government is impeccable. Or maybe the CIA has a secret agenda of questioning their government so no one else does it. Or maybe the CIA has a mandate of making themselves exposed for prosecution so the government can say it wasn't them, it was the CIA.
Think about how stupid your suggestion is... Or explain why a CIA agent would tell everyone to stop being dull and wake up to the fact that their government is complicit in so many crimes.

That's all you have to add to this thread? That I use my real name?
We mock that which we fear.

I think, Mr. Other Matthew Dowd, that I was making a play out of you having the same name as the man referred to in Wikipedia. Unless you're actually him, but I don't think so, as I don't think he would have responded the way you did. But now I remember that's why I wrote what I did.

Don't be so hard on yourself! Your suggestions aren't stupid, there just not very well explained.
