I think that there is a total disconnect for the american consumer when it come to unions and labor costs in foreign countries as oppsed to our country.
For all the pissing and moaning when our local jobs are shipped off, we all still have to have our foreign made 'objects of the moment'.
It used to be that we got stuff cheaper because it was foreign made. That's not the case with apple products.
And it is just about impossible to find clothes made in the usa anymore.

Not just Apple products, but virtually all computers and electronics. Clothes, toys, any many other things are made offshore, including most American flags.
It is also interesting that the Chinese send a lot of jobs offshore too. The semiconductors that they use to manufacture electronics are made in Malaysia or other sources of even cheaper labor.
