What we were?

Post by Scrat »

I came across this picture of a man from Krasnoselkup Siberia. Yamal AR. He's probably a merchant. What does this picture make you think of the individual? I think it is how many of us were long ago. I wonder if we were stronger wiser people then.

Thats the face of a man that doesn't suffer fools gladly. I see a strong will, tough demeanor, hard working, stoic. I see fairness in his eyes

Compassionate eyes.... they seem to hold some sadness.

He's very attractive, very virile looking. He's probably short though.

He looks quite tall to me with a body which shows a life time of hard work.

This man never sat behind a desk for a living, thats for sure

Am I missing something? All I see is a head shot that cuts him off at collar bone level. If there's a full body shot, I NEED to see it. Full frontal preferably.

This is the only other picture I found. He's in the background next to what is probably his son. He probably has a house in the town and in the summer doubles as merchant while in winter he works for the gas or oil companies in the area. Look at the items the people are selling too.

That picture always makes me angry. I see strength but I also see fear and uncertainty. I hope things went well for her in the end.

Perhaps at some point in the past our ancestors were part of the same tribal group. very similar to a west coast of scotland facial structure.
