I remember it getting good reviews when it was released

Yeah, I enjoyed it. There were parts that were hard to believe but it's an alien movie so I wasn't too concerned about it.

Yeah I get a bit critical when parts of the plot go a bit skew-wiff but sometimes you have to check your brain in at the cloakroom before settling down to watch these films

Bit like Battleship when a dozen old timers got a museum piece battleship ready for war in a couple of hours and sailed it. I scoffed at that bit

Movies are good when you can get your 13 yr old to sit down and watch something from before she was born.

This movie was one where I let the hype get me too fired up. Anything that people compare to "SPEILBURG!" I get excited about, but this was "speilburg." or speilburg-lite if you want. Sure there's some great writing and some neat special effects, but the movie rambles a bit and seems disjointed at the end. Not enough bang for the buck. Kind of similar to the feeling I got from "Chronicle."

Probably I was over-expecting. Just get some popcorn and don't expect too much, you'll like it.

Just watched. It was quite good. Got to wondering about how a man in a truck destroys a train like that but survives, so did the camera and so did their car.....LOL

Disapointed by Chronicle

Prometheus was great especially in 3D
