What to do, what to do...

Post by valerie »

So, this weekend around here (well, SF mostly) is going

to be PACKED with events, some are predicting draws of

a million people!

We have (in no particular order):

Giants playoff game

49er game

Cal/UCLA game

Fleet Week, w/ Blue Angels shows

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival

Madonna concert

Justin Bieber concert

2 large cruise ships docking

Ah let's see: hmmm, that might be it!

Darn the luck.

If possible, I would go even to SF to attend those.
What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

CAL/UCLA game. :)

No way Beiber!

What a lovely set of choices, just a regular weekend for me-clean the house, kung fu class, lots of music on Sunday. It is always nice.

The street fair is always a blast, although I'm not sure that I'd want to brave the traffic to get there this weekend with so many things going on.

Then, down in the south bay, there is the annual Day of the Dead Donut Art Show at Psycho Donuts.

Val, please tell me you didn't choose Justin Beiber :wah:

Wow Val. I love SF and wish I could fly out there right now.

I'd love to see Madonna, Fleet week and the Giants.

Sounds like a great time. What are you planning on seeing??

With most of those things sold out long ago (sorry Beibs!!)

and all the resulting traffic/crowds... a little closer to home is

a nice Harvest Fair!

They are saying in the press that SF should expect 800,000 - 1,000,000 tourists for the weekend. Yikes!
