Executed or not!

Scott Peterson got the "Death penalty" yesterday! Do you think he will ever really be executed? Or will he be on "death row" for ever? :-5

There's 640 other inmates on death row at San Quentin ahead of him, so even if they do start executions again, Peterson will have a long wait.

Is it true that they execute in order?

execution dates take place when all appeals run out and death warrant signed, so there are variables. not in order, it depends on where their appeals are in the courts. texas and florida most active, and Conn. about to execute one for the first time in many years.

:-5 Since I live in California.. I can honestly say he will be sitting on DEATH ROW FOR MANY, MANY YEARS..!! NOT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE, BUT THE LAWYERS CAN KEEP THE APPEALS GOING DAMN NEAR FOREVER..!!

There is not swift justice in this case, just years of appeals..!! Death row won't be a picnic for sure...!! So I guess we the TAX PAYERS OF THIS STATE WILL PAYING HIS BILL TILL, WHO KNOWS WHEN..

Yep.. He will sit there while his TV lawyer makes the rounds. Sad that the criminals rights outweigh the rights of the victims.

Here in Connecticut we have Micheal Ross. I rode the same school bus. One of the bodies discovered was behind my home at the time. I can recall him on the road during that time frame, as i was a young mother and walked that country road. People in Connecticut want him executed, although there were about 100 protestors recently at the state capital against it. Ross earned execution.

Scott Peterson, may never be executed, he will wait a long time? Overlooking the very bay he left his flesh and blood? What was he thinking? Now all he has is time to think?

Conneticut it's their first for 40 years adn even though the gut has said he does not want any more appeals and wishes an end to this human rights groups are going to try and stop the execution.

I will probably die before SP given he is about 15 years younger than me.

My guess is that Pelican Bay on a LWOP sentence ,ay have been a bit tricky for a pretty boy like SP although I doubt he would have ever been in the general population

Figures These issues come during holidays? No-one wants to see any-one die? It is difficult for normal people to make decsions like this--we didn't kill anyone! I have to say there is something wrong with people who hurt others. We need to talk to them, because they need attention, why did you do that?

ok..the tv movie was lame.it was just a rehash of what was known at the time, to make a buck. i have read the entire trial transcript, there is no doubt as to his guilt. another misconception...he will be raped or shanked in prison. that will NOT happen. if he goes to death row he will be isolated 23 hours a day in a cell, and only out alone, never directly exposed to other inmates. if he gets life without parole..(the judge has the ultimate say on Feb. 25) he will be in protective custody for years, again, locked in 23 hours a day, nobody can get to him. it is a solitary existance in either case.

You Know--don't people realize that? Dear Lady Cop, I have discussed to my husband, hey--you know what, Micheal Ross called me every day, he stalked me badly, i was in a shock mode when I knew he was captured...this subject is about --while he might be killed -- about me? His Father called for material & i had to--ask the question. My husband is pissed i had wine, but you know what--these things haunt me? When i see televison segements of him, i remember a "guy" i thought looked good, he looked good! This ******* chased me down the road!!!
