It's Here.. Windows 8

Post by flopstock »

Got my technet shipment today with the new windows 8(both x64 and x86):guitarist:guitarist

I don't know who to try it on first:sneaky:

What is interesting is that I get it in english, french, german, italian, chinese(hong kong) and chinese(simplified). They are all labeled that I am not to Illegally use, lend or copy the disc.

I wonder why I even take up the space in my binder with them... but you never know:D
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

Folks who'd like to copy my intellectual work should expect to pay me for it.:-6

As long as it's not me I don't mind who the victim is :wah:

An mongrel abomination attempting to unify the irreconcilable. A desktop is not a tablet is not a 'phone - they're used differently so give each the facilities suited to its use.

I have been looking it over.

If you peel off that ugly desktop interface, it is basically the same as Win7.

Wouldn't know - can't afford the hardware to run it on :-p

My all time preference was RiscOS but that appears to be relegated to an alternative OS for the Raspberry Pi nowadays.

Go figure.

I myself will stick with Ubuntu (or some form of linux) for the forseeable future.

Like Win 8 or Mac? Go for it, it's just not for me.
