This is probably not the correct forum, but it feels like a good place. HAs anyone else seen the T.V. commercial about this EverLite Flashlight that you shake to charge. One minute is good for one hour light. It works on the "Faraday effect" which I don't necessarily understand all I know about it. Anyway...The main supplier is a T.V. distributor and i wonder if anyone knows if the flashlights are available anyplace one can actually see and handle one.
I looked on the net and it appears to be a U.K. product and well written up, but no ideas about where to purchase one except online or by phone from the T.V. number.
Any ideas or suggestions?

People on ebay are selling hundreds of them. They work okay. Not really great though. They last nowhere near an hour on a minute of shaking. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes.

I wonder if the US battery makers have the political clout to keep those windup flashlights off the market. I think that would be brilliant to have one or two of those handy for emergencies.
