Change your Monopoly tokens

Post by valerie »

You'll get to decide which of the old goes, and which new one

will take the place.

The new ones to decide between:

Robot

Helicopter

Guitar

Diamond Ring

Cat

When was the last time YOU played Monopoly?

(I get corralled pretty much every time I go see

the grandson!!)

I usually get the boot but I could quite go for the robot.

Shoe, wheelbarrow, or shoe. Why not keep them all?

Monopoly usually ends up pissing me off, I have terrible luck with dice and I'm a sore loser... but it'd be a toss up between the cat and the diamond ring.

Well looks like the iron is out, and the cat is in!

Doesn't this seem like a female friendly decision? Out with the symbol (iron) of a domesticate job, in with a cat. Which every female in the world seems to have for a pet now days.

Not that it matters in any way to me. It's just the first thing I thought when I heard this. Does that make any sense?

Sure it does! I thought the same thing myself. But I did wonder why they

didn't replace the thimble, too. In my experience, few women sew OR

iron any more!.

Good point. The thimble is a thing of the past. Most kids that are new to the game probably think its a real small shot glass now days.
