I bet I'm not the only one who breathed a massive sigh of relief in the sporting world that we are now finally rid of the vile, revolting John McCririck...

We could not have hoped for a better replacement than Clare Balding, a lady who's love of horses positively shines through your TV screens.

Well done Clare.... you were the only man for the job.
