Is there any truth to his message?

I wonder how the administration truly views this?

I'm amazed that there was a time that I actually enjoyed listening to stuff like that. Sorry, I couldn't take more than about 2 minutes. My personal hope would be that it didn't mean much to anyone who matters.

I used to read some american science fiction novels where the premise was there had been a right wing Christian fundamentalist takeover of america the handmaids tale and the like. I used to think it was pretty fanciful as I couldn't imagine Americans just letting it happen. Funnily enough canada always seems to still be free. I do wonder why so many Americans don't seem to realise that the liberal values so many want to expunge and seem to despise are also the very liberties embodied in your constitution. Liberal/liberty same latin root the connection is pretty obvious. You can't have freedom without freedom from religion.

What is really interesting is the use of the Presidential seal at the beginning, while this was not an official activity of the President's inauguration.

It is always a frustrating when you come across people so rigid in their beliefs that they refuse to hear anything other than confirmation of their views.

I have students who refuse to listen to facts or to read history because they have a set of views they are certain are absolute truths. They also feel they "know everything".

Close-mindedness is along the same lines as book burning and constructed illiteracy. All effective in suppressing the truth and the growth through knowledge.

When we stop listening and learning, we are near the end of our days. Education and truth is a life long pursuit. Some choose otherwise.

I am all for the country focusing on God's plan for the country, and the world.

The problem, as I see it, is understanding what that plan is, and I have yet to meet a lot of people who understand that plan. I don't think these people are of that lot, either.

Uh , sometimes I really hate youtube, like now.

Didn't take a minute before I did a google on this Jonathan Cahn .

That guy is in another world than me.
