The Shoot Out scene in HEAT.
I saw this in the cinema, and I just thought these guys don't give a monkeys. When the scene ended eveyone started to clap.
With De Niro and Pacino in the same film, makes it a Michael Mann classic movie.

I remember watching this movie as a child. The trek through the desert sequence and the Gregory Peck character's endurance always stuck with me for some reason.

The film below is memorable to me because it takes place in Cherokee, NC., where hubby and I vacation. The motel with the wigwam room is close to where we stayed a few times. SantaLand is not as close to the motel as the movie portrays. Grab some popcorn and enjoy.

Which was your favorite?
Sissy Spacek in "Coal Miner's Daughter" as Loretta Lynn wasn't mentioned. She was terrific.

Yes, I've seen the Piaf movie. The characterization of Edith Piaf is excellent in all stages of her life. I really enjoyed it.

On my ninth birthday, my parents took us to the drive-in movies to see the movie below. I really wanted to see it, but I was worried that we wouldn't be able to because we had bad weather that afternoon; heavy rain with thunder, lightening and hail. But it did clear up eventually before sunset, so we all packed up in the station wagon and went.
