North Korea canceled the armistice agreement that brought a cease-fire to the Korean War, and threatened to destroy South Korea or turn Seoul into a sea of fire. North Korea vowed to cancel any agreements made between the two Koreas starting today, March 11. This date coincides with the date of the annual Key Resolve exercise. North Korea had condemned the annual joint maneuvers as a provocative invasion rehearsal. North Korea is using the exercise to create tensions in the Korean peninsula in order to gain leverage in other matters. However, the tides have changed and North Korea will no longer be able to get away with their provocative actions. This time it's very different. China no longer can support North Korea's insanity. And the US will not give in to North Korea's requests.

What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

China will not allow armed US troops on the Yalu River, like it or not. I just heard the exercises the US and S Korea are doing involve the simulated use of tactical nuclear weapons. Considering the specter of US aggression world wide, were I the N Koreans I would be very concerned. What's 50 million dead Koreans to a US senator or general? People say Stalin was bad. WTF?

I find it hard to understand why the occupied South Koreans continue to tolerate US provocation on what ought to be its own territory. Of course the exercise is provocation of the North. Fortunately North Korea maintains an independent foreign policy - unlike the occupied South - and sufficient determination to retain it. Eventually one can only hope that Korea becomes a reunified country. South Koreans should regard their government's refusal to negotiate reunification terms as shameful.
Long Live General Kim Jong-un, the Shining Sun!
