Foods harmful to dogs...

Post by Oscar Namechange »

I have never fed my dogs processed food...

We have a daily ritual where we boil up meat, mostly chicken In a pan of white rice...

I don't do It to be a snob....I go to Sainsbury at 5 pm when the meat Is reduced In price and get It In the freezer for the week...

I have had dogs all of my adult life and historically, they have all been rescue's bar my present two and Scully who we lost recently at 15 years old... As I have always taken older dogs, they have always died at around 8 years old as an average from anything from kidney failure, cancer's etc...

When I got Mulder and Scully as 8 week old puppies, I fed them nothing but boiled chicken and rice with vitimen supplement...... we lost Scully only due to chronic athritis at 15 years old and Mulder has just had his 15th birthday.... Yes, he's stone deaf but our vet recently did a full MOT and reported his heart and organs to be excellent for his age....

I am absolutely convinced by my own findings that processed food slowly poisons our pets.

This link shows what Is dangerous food for dogs...

I don't doubt that your dogs enjoy a fresh cooked meal. I use chicken and rice when my dog has an upset stomach. I'm not sure about processed foods poisoning our dogs. I have only anecdotal evidence, of course.
