Horse of the Year 2013 announced tomorrow

Post by Oscar Namechange »

What makes this year all the better Is that I've just been given two tickets to the Premier enclosure tomorrow at Sandown park to see the winner crowned.... It's not what you know but who you know...even better, Kauto Star will be there.

The contenders....

Hello Bud

Won the Becher Chase... not outstanding on It's own but he did It aged 14 years.

Quevega

She's the one dubbed ' The Wonder Mare'. At Cheltenham this year she did a Golden Miller by winning at the Festival 5 years In a row. She hasn't lost a race since 2009

Jupiter Rex

Although he hasn't notched wins at major festivals, he has won 7 races on the bounce.

Battle Group

An outstanding feat when he won at Aintree and then won at Aintree again just two days later.

Zarkander

Won 4 out of 5 outings.

Solwhit

Won at The Cheltenham Festival and The Aintree Festival

Hurricane Fly

The only horse to regain the Champion Hurdle since 1975 and remains unbeaten.

Bobs Worth The Gold cup Winner

Sprinter Sacre dubbed The Black Areoplane remains unbeaten. Won the Queen Mother Champion Chase by 19 lengths.
