I think of Kathy Bates when Flops posts. Oscar is Julie Waters. JJ is Truman Capote (I know, not an actor but then sort of is...) and Snowfire is Ray Stevenson.

When the FG drama transmutes to the small screen in six seasons of twelve episodes apiece I shall, of course, be portrayed by Sean Bean.

I shall do all I can to talk a slippered Helen Mirren, with her hair mightily curlered, into the drama-laden role of oscar, with directorial instruction to go overboard at any and every opportunity.

Viggo Mortensen is a natural shoe-in for Wisey - I'll stop thinking of the Lord of the Rings eventually but just now I'm a bit fixated, it was mentioning Sean Bean that did it. And that bloody elf... Orlando Bloom, that's the fellow. He can learn broad scots and enliven each episode where gmc takes part.

Nomad, by popular acclaim, can only be done justice to if W C Fields returns for one last bravura performance.

The Boop is an ideal candidate for asking Glenda Jackson back to the boards. Besides, I seem to remember Ms Jackson was known for taking her clothes off whenever a camera pointed in her direction which means we'll have to make this a BBC/HBO joint production.

We may have trouble affording Burt Reynolds but nobody else would do Tombstone so convincingly.

oh... eta. [1]. I forgot to explain. Shrek's girlfriend's dad was a direct rip-off of Richard Widmark but I bet nobody paid any royalties to his estate.

I love Diane Keaton! I agree, of course, with Acc=Marty Feldman. Rock Hudson for Saint_, Interesting choice, very slick, but I will stay with the divine & straight Gregory Peck.

I'm relieved, TA1/2r, you didn't say Bella Abzug. I kinda see myself more as a Joy Behar, but then again, I've always been an underachiever. Diane Keaton it is!

For you, TA1/2r, someone droll, cool, funny. I like Bill Maher or Jon Stewart, but I'll try harder for someone British.

Are we thinking about personality or looks?? I'd rather base my answer on character traits and not looks as new members don't know what we look like.

Purely imagination. I know what most of the members here look like but I still have mental images of famous people when I think of them.
