I'm trying to "subscribe" to threads that I've posted to,

but can't, for the life of me, figure it out ...

I went to "Settings," which should have given me the option,

but,

this is a subscription site,

so that may be a Premium Option.

How do YOU know if you posted to a thread?

(i do see the pink or blue flutterbys, ~ oops! Envelopes, that is ~ but i seem to be neither.)

Top of this page, center right, you will see a notation called "my posts". Click on that & it shows you all your posts & threads.

In addition to what Anne said there is also a 'my subscriptions' option under the 'my tools' tab above the 'my posts' one.

Or more generally if you click My Profile in the top right corner, there's "Find all started threads" part-way down the left column and that works on anyone else's profile too. The Boop answer is right if you've left the Settings/ My Account / General Settings / Default Thread Subscription Mode as anything except "Do not subscribe".
