Seriously ? What's the problem ?
To hear my husband shouting from the bathroom, you'd think he'd just cut his throat.
But no, a grown man of 6ft 1 can't handle a spider. Fair enough, It was a big un and one of those black hairy one's and It was doing squats In the bath tub.
Me ? Easy. Pick the hairy fella up In my hand and drop him out the window. Job done and no-one gets hurt.
I don't particually like them per say. I wouldn't share a pot of Lipton's and a lightly buttered scone with one but I just don't get why all the fuss.?
Can you handle them or are you a screamer?

I'm learning to handle them (ish) having been a screamer. But this is my first spider season in my flat and I don't know what to expect or how I'll react in a smaller environment with more hiding places...shudder
Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answers...Rainer Maria Rilke

A few years back, Peter said to me ' Don't look behind the sofa'. I said It's OK, I'd already seen It hoofing across the lounge floor an hour earlier.
Went to do the glass trick. Glass over spider and slide a card underneath. Not even a pint glass was big enough for this one so had to pick It up with my hand.

Wifey is scared of them. Never heard her panic but excitedly summon me to remove the spider. My instinct is to just kill them but she insists I escort them outside.
What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

I am phobic about rats or mice, but wasps bees spiders, don't scare me one bit.

The beasties themselves don't scare me. It's being startled that I don't like.

I only have one phobia and that's Stag Beetles. Thank God they are an endangered species these days and you don't see many.
