I am so sick and tired of getting SMS messages on my cell phone at all hours. Yeah I guess I could turn my phone off, but I have a business and I have family so I leave my phone on 24/7 and when I go to sleep its next to my bed.
What gives these droids the rights to SMS me at three in the morning about insurance and crap like that?
Isn't it time me told the cell phone companies to stop this or else?

Ever filled in a credit application and put your phone number on it, filled in an online survey bought anything on line and used your phone number? Sadly if you are in any kind of business directory your number is out there and freely available. They all sell on the details and also of what you are buying. You can opt out of you can find the box to tick at the end of the application or in the middle of it is very small writing. All it takes is just one and your details re on sale forever. My pet hate is silent phone calls from an automated calling service. If they ask me to press a number to speak to someone I usually do and leave the the open at least that costs them money and it seems very effective at getting the calls stopped.

Sounds like a good idea to punish them ... I shall try it.
