Are you deliberately winding me up ?

George Galloway Is a vile, disgusting, odious, arrogant, cretin who targeted the Muslim vote In Bradford because no sane British person would ever vote for him and he knew his chances of ever being re-elected were nil after he was expelled by The Labour Party.

He's now talking about courting the Muslim vote In London for London Mayor.

Is George Galloway To Fight Boris Johnson For Mayor Of London Job?

Good Intentions? NO.... Self publicist for the campaign trial for London Mayor YES.

It's not all about you.

What about the fund ?

It reached it's target and surpassed it, he obviously has lots of backing for what the thread was about...................nothing to do with his being Mayor.

I was joking.

George Osborne Is a player.

If anyone else started the fund, I'd agree and donate. He however Is hoping to tap the electorate who had been calling for Blair to be tried long before he thought of It and cashing In on It. It has everything to do with his bid for Mayor... publicity, and canvassing votes where he'd fail to secure them without the fund.

It matters when protesters have been calling for Blair's arrest and trial for years and Galloway using It In the run up to the Mayoral elections.

It totally undermines all the hard work protesters have put In with their campaigns over the years just for Galloway to come along for his own selfish reasons to take the credit.

On that video alone it shows the paranoia involved.

A shot where police 'happen' to be behind a van as a bus passes shows 'Police hiding' behind a van.

A shot with no police asks 'Where are the police?'

All through the tone is 'They get treated better than us......and we belong here'

People cannot see how badly it reflects on the average voter, when a minority can gain control of a council while the 'indigenous locals' are sat on their asses or playing bingo on election day.

"Lethargy Rules" and now it's biting their bums

What exactly do you mean by that ?

I don't actually like the video although there's no denying the Muslims In Tower Hamlet's went on the rampage.

I posted the video because of Galloway's appearance there. There were no EDL there on that day because they cancelled the Demo but others Including Galloway looking for the Muslim vote whip them up and Incite them.

I am all for any member of Parliament or Councillor being the voice for any ethnic minority In this country but not when It's Incitement.

I don't even believe for a minute he's ever had the best Interests of British Muslims at heart. I believe It's all a game plan. When he couldn't get re-elected In Bethnal Green, London, he hot footed It to Bradford, Yorkshire where he knew there was a large Muslim vote to be had. Now his Constituancy are calling him Into question and It looks like he will not retain his seat, he changes tact to bid for London Mayor.

Muslims are a minority in Tower Hamlets according to the video.

I don't like calling them Muslims, muslim is a religion, not a race......but anyway.

Everybody gets a vote in local elections, they motivate enough of their people to vote, while the original Londoners are too lethargic to leave the house to vote, they then complain "They" are 'taking over'

"They" are only filling the void left by the lethargy and world weariness of the Londoners.

Who exactly is to blame ?

You must be joking!

Gorgeous George was calling for Blair to be tried from the day Blair called for war.

Much as you may dislike him he has been totally consistant in his opposition to the war.

Then I stand corrected on his consistency to the war.

Are you seriously suggesting that because Respect is in turmoil George Galloway has taken up the cause of Blair's war crimes?

Would you care to tell me why he stood against Oona King in the 2005 election and the issues that campaign was fought over? Indeed, why do you think he was expelled from the Labour Party in 2003 if it was not his opposition to the proposed war?

If his anti-war stance, and the associated war crimes accusation is a reaction to the problems of the Respect party in 2013 then could you tell me why he was elected Vice President of the Stop the War Party in 2001?

It's like saying that Robin Cook supported the invasion!

! No... I am suggesting that because his Respect Party Is In turmoil and his seat In Bradford under critisism, he Is turning his attentions to London Mayor because he fears losing his seat.

How can this man be taken seriously after such blatant racism ?

Look at post #5 and tell me how it relates to this post - you were relating his stand on Blair's war crimes to the problems within Respect, not problems in his Bradford constituency.

and the deflection to the Israli debate is just that, deflection.

But I fail to see how he can take an anti-war stance In the ME and then refuse to accept Israel.

Refuse to accept Israel with respect to what? With respect to they denying Israeli arabs access to water and their own land? With respect to their demolishing the homes of Israeli arabs? With respect to their attacks on schools and hospitals in Gaza and the West bank? With respect to their illegal settlements (as declared by the UN)?

Of course he refuses to accept the actions of Israel - he's been doing that since the 60s - nothing to do with war, totally to do with Israeli action against their own citizens.

He didn't say ' I don't accept the actions of Israel'.... that would be an entirely different stance and one I'd agree whole-heartedly with.

He said ' I don't recognise Israel'.... whole new ball game.
