DIY question
Is there an easy way of changing tiles In the Kitchen.
I've now decided I don't like the colour of my Kitchen tiles and want to replace them but can't face completely removing them and starting again.
Thanks In advance.

The only easy way I know of is to hire someone to do it for you while you take a trip to the Riviera

There is a ceramic special paint for tile.
I've seen tile painted and if applied correctly turned out very nice.
I could not notice the tile had been painted.
Now - this may depend on the type - size of tile etc. but a major hardware store would be aware of the product.
just a option as a color change.

Don't think there is an easy way, other than painting them as suggested.

Thanks Patsy... That's a great Idea and I'll check the hardware store and ask.

If you like the tin or copper look
you could cover the existing tile with sheets of tin or copper.
Hammered Copper would be beautiful.
pricey maybe?
Good luck

I am hoping that If my budget runs to It, I can get a new copper Cooker Hood. I think It'll look quite groovy with the red and black.

An alternative to painting them is to tile over them - or if they're on an outside wall without a cavity (like wot mine were) batten over them, plasterboard the battens and have a fresh wall to do with as you will.
