Ever since I been able to read and write I have read & listened to earthlings grizzling about the homeless, the poor and the disadvantaged.
Be it Africa, Asia or whatever, famine takes its toll and nightly on TV news channels we are shown images of people, usually with several children and with flies crawling in and out of their mouths and noses.
The West then rally around and send aid to these unfortunate earthlings, but within a minimum of a year, these same countries and these same people are once again featured on the News starving and we are subjected to even more harrowing images of black women with leathery empty breasts suckling even more starving infants.
At the same time we see so called freedom fighters with state of the art weaponry driving around villages firing round after round of ammunition at a usually invisible enemy.
And the western powers, knowingly or not, pump more and more aid into the coffers of the warlords who give not a crumb of bread to the starving masses.
So I guess that as long as there are armament manufacturers there will be conflict on this plant.
When will we ever learn?

Where Have All the Flowers Gone
Hard to believe such sentiments were once thought to be unamerican.

According to Grammarly there is no plagiarism here only an original write. So GMC go look some place else.

That's what I was referring to - it's a phrase from one of the most iconic protest songs ever written. Perhaps I should have made the connection I was making it clearer it was a joke using smilies etc etec. I keep forgetting there are people who always assume the worst and assume everyone is out to cause trouble.

"I keep forgetting there are people who always assume the worst and assume everyone is out to cause trouble."
Actually I doubt this would be so in this case ... L J is a very chilled lady who would never simply "assume that everyone is out to cause trouble."
Its just that authors are very touchy about the word plagiarism.
