Questions about an online purchase from overseas company

Post by Marie5656 »

Has anyone here ever made an online purchase from a site based in another country? I am looking for something for Trixie, and a place that has them is based in the UK. They accept major credit cards, so that is not an issue...but does the credit card company do the money conversions? They also accept Pay Pal.

Any guidance would be appreciated. It is not definate I am going to buy the product..would rather keep looking for a local store that sells it.

Many times, Marie, and it's no different from a local purchase, it just takes longer to arrive.

Or, simply, multiply by two to get US dollars.

I use http://www.lastminute.com/ to book my flights.

I found out if you use the British site (not the US) and when you search for flights, click flight near top then click the multi-stops option. You have to click the multi-stops as the only options without it checked are for England ONLY and not US cities.

You only have to put in a round trip when you search.

Why do I use them?

.......$$$$$$$$$$$$

I save about 40-60% on flights compared to cheapflight.com, Orbit.com or any of the other online booking agencies.

So yes I do shop overseas companies with no problems and save too.

You know how they are. They get their grubby little hands on a couple of dollars and they start cackling and rubbing their hands together. They bury their loot in the dirt floor, theyre known for hoarding. Also they steal pies.

I think that almost persons don't like topurchase from a site based in another country. So that there are so many international trade and suppliers, procurement representative from all over the world. Sometime, there is websites called whatyouwant.cn, which is free for International Purchaser to publish information of purchase. It is a good choice for buyer. Good luck.

In additional, I agreed with the Nomad. Don't fall into the trap. Before the deal, it is necessary to know more about the product.
