On a bit of tat equipment costing £20 I don't mind peak-to-peak advertising cobblers but really - this thing's £278 = $455 and cobblers is just not good enough.

"310W"?

Up with this I shall no longer put.

I'll post any response.

I have no idea what "310W" means, that's all. I do know that it's pronounced "310 Watts" and that it has nothing whatever to do with "310 Watts". It might as well say "310 Goldfish" for all the information it conveys to me. Maybe someone can either explain it or translate it or at least apologize for it. "310 Watts" has no place whatever on any piece of kit costing this much money.

You might notice there's not a hint of the volume capability though. That's what a proper power rating conveys, once you get an idea of the speakers you're putting the output of the amplifier through. I've been buying sound equipment for half a decade and, honestly, "310W" is meaningless advertising hogwash.

Look at the power supply specification again. 25 Volt, 2 Amps. I'd be very surprised if that bit of kit puts out more than 12 Watts to the speakers.
