Our dear member Gilly ( she's 96 you know !!!! )

She went Into hospital last year to have a bionic hip replaced and a yearly scrub down of the chuff chuff.

I sent her a box of Thorntons Chocolates to the hospital with my address on the back of the parcel and asked the hospital If they would send them on If she had been discharged by the time they arrived.

The staff did send them on.... only.... back to my house.

I saw this as divine Intervention ( well you would wouldn't you ? ) and I ate them.

I can now Imagine Gilly turning up at my funeral saying ' Oy where's me choccy's'

It was a year ago and she reminds me In every e mail, message and phone call. :wah:

It's getting seriously difficult not to feel a sense of shame and guilt every time I wolf down another Thorntons Truffle.

2. I have mentioned it twice - with a two year gap in between ! I told you in a PM that it was such a long time ago, not to worry about it. :p

As regards writing stuff in your birthday thread, I apologise for that, but it was the only thread I could think of that stood a reasonable chance of you reading stuff on it ! :p
