After The New One's win Nigel Twiston-Davis has confirmed he will take on My Tent Or Yours In The Christmas Hurdle on Boxing Day.

No anti-post yet but I''d Imagine both will be odds on.

Saturday The New One did not come off the bridle until the run In. Call me picky but My Tent Or Yours doesn't appear to give that much extra when the jockey asks for the extra push to the line and I think It's that which will cost him here.

The pair have met before at the 2012 Aintree meeting where The New One beat My Tent Or Yours by a length and a quarter.

Pretty safe bet In the form of a straight forecast of the two I feel.

Vaniteux 4th

Urbane De Sivola 3rd

Silviniaco Conti Winner

The New One Not too cheesed off here as at least I was right that It was a two horse race between the two. However, a massive blunder at the last hurdle In my opinion cost The New One the race and enabling My Tent or Yours to gain half a length on the run In. I will also concede that MTOY's has Improved when the whips drawn for the extra push. This sets up one hell of a Champion Hurdle clash between the two again In March... but on much firmer ground and without blunders, I'm still on the young novice The New One all the way.

Another big bet tomorrow In Sprinter Sacre.

I am ecstatic nay euphoric to learn one of my favourite steeple chasers has made the first stage declarations for The Grand National In April.

This boy led mostly from the front until tiring 4 out In the 2012 Grand National and absolutely ran his heart out taking every fence like a lion. He gives his all every time and Is brave to the last.

After being out of action for a year due to Injury...

They say with death comes new life and even In neighing circles, we have had a surprising co-incidence.

First, the racing world went Into mourning yesterday at the death of champion St Nicholas Abbey to colic. But on the same day, Frankel became a daddy with his first foal born... even more co-incidentally, the foal being born on Frankel's trainers birthday, Sir Henry Cecil who lost his fight to cancer last year.

After a worrying few months when Champion Denman fought for his life, I am delighted nay euphoric to learn that not only Is he over the worst, but he will lead the parade for ' The Denman Chase' ( a race formally known as The Aon, renamed In his honour) on 8th February at Newbury and I'll be there to see him.... They didn't call that boy ' The Tank' for nothing.

Looks like Big Bucks will take on At Fishers Cross In The Cleeve hurdle prior to a serious stake to reclaim his title In The World Hurdle In March.

Having been out of action for 3 years, I am delighted to report that Dunguib ran a respectable 3rd place on his first outing since Injury. Had he of not been held up at the rear at the start, this could have been a win. Although I wanted to see how the boy performed before betting, I am thrilled and this Is testament to trainer Phillip Fenton who spent 3 years getting this boy back where he deserves to be.

Following his run, Fenton has declared Dunguib will make a stake In the World Hurdle against Big Bucks In March.

I just can't wait to see that boy come ramping up the Cheltenham hill again and this makes an Interesting field for the World Hurdle.

Newbury, tomorrow 8th February

1.20 Calipto

2.25... The Denman Chase... Al Ferof seems the strongest contender here but I'm sticking my neck right out and sticking with an old favourite of mine, Katenko although Harry Topper could be a danger also.

3.00 Dodging Bullets

3.35 Rolling Star

4,40 Imagine The Chat
