Love it when kids do this.
When my boys in their early to mid teens were arguing between a Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley CD, I nearly teared up with pride.
I just checked out these girls and they were also singing "magic carpet ride" ........... Almost fell off my chair when I realised they are really popular with the youngins.

I am not knocking the content or the performance, both are very good.
What gets me about kids these days ?
They tend to copy, copy verbatim note for note, grimace for grimace, warble for warble, falsetto for falsetto.
All the truly greats are originals, perhaps they need to learn by copying then find their own strengths before making their mark.

Mimicry is part of the learning process.
My grandson did a lot of that kind of stuff. Now he is comfortable with the sound, and is beginning to experiment.
