I'm no fan of Scot Andy Murray ... In fact as a person off the court I find him rather ba .. oarinnnnnnng!! As a person on court I find him even more ba .. oarinnnnnnng!

However give him his due ... in fact maybe roll him around in the dew one frosty morning and maybe he will chill out. He is the first Brit to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry seventy seven or seventy eight years ago.

Okay he isn't English .... So is that why he did not even get a mention on HRH's honours list this new year? Many lesser mortals have received assorted gongs and to tell you the truth, I have absolutely no inkling of what or who or when most of them are.

I mean for God's sake, even backbenchers, gardeners & city councillors got recognised

but not poor old Andy ... Nah-Uh. He cleans up Novak Djokovic 6–4, 7–5, 6–4 ... but is he made Sir Andy? No sir!

Go sing a few songs and get busted for drugs Andy lad ... maybe then you'll get knighted one night or one day in the future!

This is nonsense he was given an OBE for services to tennis in the new years honours list for 2013. Why should he get another one?

You asked for an opinion why complain when you get one. People don't normally get honours two years in succession he was given an OBE last year it's not as though he wasn't recognised, it's a puerile attempt to stir up controversy. Besides the whole thing is corrupt and valueless when honours are bought and sold like sweeties. Anyone with integrity would refuse - as indeed many do.

Obviously I didn't mean you specifically just those who are trying to make a big deal about nothing. There are some who have tried to make it an issue in the referendum debate most scots just couldn't care less.
