I'm trying to find a user friendly (read: dummy friendly!) freeware graphics editing program. If it can do photos too that's a plus. I have Adope Photoshop but it bewilders me. I dl'd a trial version of Corel idraw tonight but there's an error somewhere so I don't know how it works.
Does anyone have a program they'd recommend to someone with little patience for bells and whistles?
I use 8, it's good enough for me and cheaper. :wah:
Oh, I'm sorry!I posted just when you did and didn't see the links! I'll go see what freedownloadcenter has to offer. I love freeware. I used to go to FilePile.com but they closed a few years ago. They had everything.

Surprise me, what point are you trying to make with these odd posts of yours. Photoimpact was discontinued back in 2009 and it cost a small fortune even before Corel discontinued it.
If you'd like to start a conversational thread and discuss your part of the world we'd join in with considerable interest.
I use vector graphics and diagrams now and then. GIMP is fine for photo work, dia deals with diagrams and "Inkscape is a professional vector graphics editor for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. It's free and open source". I recommend all three.
