BAFTA's for Julie Hesmondhalgh.and David Neilson PLEASE !!!

Yeah, we all mock the soaps but....

In Coronation Street we have seen for the past few weeks, the part of Julie Hesmondhalgh, Haley Cropper commit suicide.

The plot saw her diagnosed as terminal with cancer and she chose to end It all against her husbands wishes so she was In her right mind and not doped by drugs.

As the wife of a terminal patient, the acting by both was not only the best I've seen In many years but the script writers had It bang on.

Over the weeks, all the emotions that I myself have been through were superbly acted out by the character Roy Cropper.

It was right, It was sensitive and very true to life... well done to all.

Excellent acting from both...very moving.

It was Roy's overwhelming love for Hayley that moved me...he wanted to hold on to her for as long as he could but accepted that she wished to end her life before the cancer did.

Yes, and they had her reasons bang on.... so that she was In control and not the cancer.... my husband got that perfectly.

I screeched my eyes out last night watching it, if I were Hayley I'd do the exact same thing.

Well done Coronation Street and the actors, it was very real.
