That isn't what I want to talk about ... When I joined FG in 2008 it was a Forum second to none ... Okay its slipped a little but I just saw a report on the internet that claimed that by 2017 Facebook would be history ... I so hope so!!

I dunno. I hope Facebook goes on, and all the goobledegook stays there. Meanwhile the intelligent types will find forums like FG a better fit.

I think Facebook would only go if there was something better to replace it. It works - however irritating it can be at times - and works very well. I have found old friends I would never have found otherwise and have even been invited to an old Army reunion with former soldiers from my old unit.

That is something Friends reuinited and Forces reunited, failed to do
