I have always had a hankering to live in a 4 bedroomed bungalow with a very attractive garden and over-looking the sea. It would have gorgeous views all around but not at risk from cliff erosion, and in a favourable climate - not too hot and not too cold ! (Don't want much do I ? :wah:)....... Why? Because I love the sea and my family has been associated in one way or another with the sea for many many generations. Why a bungalow ? So I can get about easier, as it's all on one level - I don't have stairs to struggle with !
I'd just want to be able to live where I want, go where I want, do anything I want when I want it. Everything was so cheap in the 1970's I was able to accomplish that on $10,000. a year. Now, I guess that might be 1/2 a million or a million a year. I was quite charitable, too, to causes as well as friends & family. I don't need luxurious things, just regular things---eating out regularly, seeing whatever play, etc., transportation fees............just do what I want when I want. I love to travel the most.
I would be off to visit my daughter in the US..........then...........when I came back I would fit out my garage with all the tool I ever wanted.......then.....No thats enough for now.
I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth
I want enough money so that whenever I see someone obviously struggling with a lack of money for something they need I could hand them enough money to meet that need.

That would be cool.

First let me ask......do people actually eat guinea pigs? :-3 Also I agree with Lars, enough money to help someone if they needed it. There's a family around here, they were business owners in the area. They fell on some hard times, had some medical problems ect. The bank foreclosed on everything they had, houses, businesses, everything. Sometimes if you rode by their houses on the weekends, they were out in the front yard, trying to sell stuff out of their house at a yard sale. It was one of the saddest things I've ever seen.

I did win, in the lottery last saterday btw.. I just don't think 1 euro will stretch that far though! :wah:
But yeah... that would be my dream. Some say my vision is mad not wanting the "relax and spend spend spend" life. But dogs and cats give so much joy. Especially the rescues.

I did actually win a decent amount on the lottery a few years ago Chloe... I'd watched a documentary about how lottery numbers came up In clusters rather than singular. The night I won a few thousand, my lucky number being 3, my winning numbers were 3, 6, 9,12.... It paid for some home Improvements but I keep trying for that rescue shelter.
