Procrastinators? Anyone? :)

Post by Hope6 »

So JJ has always said I have a Scarlott O'Hara attitude. :wah: It's true I have a serious case of.."I'll think about that tomorrow" syndrome. :-5 Anybody else around here have that problem and if so, has it ever caused you any serious problems?

I'm not a good starter but once I do begin a project I am obsessed with finishing it.

So, bad starter, good finisher.

I do! I do! Maybe if I try to forget it, it will go away!

Serious problem: Very sick. Lost 50 pounds in a bit over a month. I'll go to a doctor soon, maybe............Cancer, Stage 3. That's the most dramatic, but procrastination affects me every day. I was not supposed to be here today. I was supposed to clean off my desk because whenever I go there, & that's often, Everything falls to the floor. And the other desks. And moving boxes I haven't unpacked in almost ten years. And cleaning out the storage bin that was victim to Hurricane Sandy 15 months ago..............and............there is a possibility I'm just a lazy slob, but who wants to think that way?

A very Personal Question, Hope, if I may say so!

A lot of times it takes me several days to work up to doing something. If I have a deadline it helps, usually I end up getting something done the day that it's due. This best way to clean house is to invite company over, then you have to do it! :wah:

depends... Getting the hoover out is something I will always do tomorrow, unless I have people coming over.

Bills - I do straight away.

My health - I'll deal with that tomorrow. As long as I get through today.

Other personal issues: tomorrow.

At work: do it straight away.

Pet issues: straight away

I use ForumGarden to procrastinate. I tried, I tried, to Ban Myself, but then I'd have to do something. Eureka! That's why I love it here & all you people are my enablers.
