Ever had that?
Ever had that?
Ever had that? Yell at someone in traffic, then turning out to be one your colleagues?
I did, today :wah:
I was on the bicycle, as I crossed the level crossing, you have filter lanes coming up.
One for straight on, one for turning left.
I always cycle straight on, so I'm in my lane. All of a sudden about an inch off the back of my bike is a scooter. Beeping, shouting, hovering from left - right behind me.
It's not like I can go anywhere except keep cycling forward, and she couldn't overtake because of oncoming traffic.
I turned my head and I yelled at her to pipe down.
As the oncoming traffic passed, she whipped from behind me, overtook and cut me off..
By this time, I must admit I was starting to get angry and called her a "name" .
Sure enough, I got to work.. there was the scooter! :wah:

Ever had that?
During my horse racing apprenticeship In my late teens and early twenties. I had a little Honda motorbike.
On Bank holidays we were paid double time and travel expenses because In those days, regular bus and train services on BH's were not what they are now.
Although, now adult, I wouldn't dream of such a thing, and at the time everyone else was doing It, I used to claim for a taxi at double meter on bank holidays to and fro the betting office.
Arriving at the betting office mornings, I'd hide my bike In the next street.
One evening on my way home just after collecting my travel expenses that day, I had to stop at a red light on Worthing Promenade on my bike. That was also In the days that crash helmets didn't have to be worn, so my face was totally visable. As I'm sitting there at the lights, I happen to glance Into the car that's drawn alongside me to see my area manager who had just paid me my expenses... oh the shame !!!!

Nah I just apologise to store manicans when I bump into them, or turn around to have a conversation with other people because the person I think is standing there has moved to another aisle.

Ever had that?
I'm often wandering down the aisle's of the supermarket doing a shop with my husband and I'll speak to him only to find he's wandered off and I'm asking a complete stranger If we need cat litter.

Just remembering.. I had that a few weeks ago, when my mum and I went shopping.
We jabber on in english (remember I live in Holland, up north with the farmers).
I was going on and on about something, turned round and found a crowd of people staring at me.. and my mum had wandered off somewhere else..
Can you imagine.. A woman, waffling on in a strange language, to what appears to be; to herself!

No, can't say I've ever had that happen because basically I never yell at people.
