Soya.......its a worry?

Post by Bruv »

Soy has become a major source of toxicity for human beings, especially in the last three decades. Not only is more than 99% of soy genetically modified, but sources labeled organic or non-GMO are often exposed to the same problems as conventional soy. If you consume processed foods, soy is almost impossible to avoid. With the exception of wheat, there are few foods that are causing as many health problems as soy in the food supply.

I seriously believe the things we eat innocently in processed food, that we cannot avoid easily, such as bread, cakes biscuits etc, are contributing to many of our modern illnesses.
I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth

You're probably right about that. I wonder sometimes about the interactions between the GMO food products that seem to be in everything and their combination with the stuff our factories and power plants spew into the air, along with the chemicals in our water.

We've never really tested those combinations.

Soya is everywhere now, as is wheat and I agree we are poisoning ourselves with over indulgence without even realising we are over indulging! Soya doesn't play a huge part in my family's diet, I know that because I read all the labels to ensure that there are no wheat or gluten containing ingredients in the food I buy. Because I've known for some time that soya is becoming the next big allergy problem I've been avoiding it in any volume.

I like my soya in original bean form.

Steamed with a bit of sea salt.
