Nothing Happening Here on FG.

As per usual. So maybe I better post something controversial to get things going.

So here's something. There are threads on all sorts of stuff on links that appear on other sites. Wow awesome ... not. There are threads on race horses ... and that is like that ... end of story..

I ...The Chosen could put up a half a gazillion threads on any number of different stuff standing on my head. Gimme a word and I can give you a thread ...

Is that what FG has become?

You always disappear, and then show up when things quiet down to complain about how quiet it is.

Sometimes, people just don't have anything to say.

Besides, folks here are here because they want to be here. Those other places are like noisy sports bars where everybody is talking, but nothing much is really being said.

Hi Lars...In defense of Jj he doesn't disappear....he post often and then become bored and retreats to his writing. I know I don't post much but I am here almost every day - I may not say much cuz as you pointed out people just don't have anything to say....hmmmm...wonder why? Perhaps it is like a quiet sports bar where nothing much is really being said cuz there is not much worth interest.

Please don't misunderstand me...I think FG is a good site.

I can post about the Dog Park and how I make children cry and about incarceration (not Moi!!!) and photography and gardening and some great receipes....perhaps I should do that. As I said, FG is a good site it just needs a shot in the arm.

I have been wondering where is Tabby? I hope she and her mom are OK. Grumpy? I haven't heard from him for quite a while. Where is Annie? Snooze where are you? Even Fuzzy....and many of the other elders (respectfully said) have not been posting. I know life is very busy and none of us have enuf hours in the day....at least I don't. Is this how it has always been? Let's just hope the religious threads don't take over.

I seldom if ever "disappear" sir, as much as I would like to ... I merely absent myself in order to concentrate more on my writing ... Then I login again and read threads that are of interest. I seldom if ever complain but simply comment on what I observe during this time.

I am and always have been frank and upfront in my dealings with earthlings so that when I have something to say I usually say it out in the open.

I am a leader and do not Kowtow ... that is act in an obsequious manner; show servile deference; touch my forehead to the ground while kneeling, as an act of worship, reverence, apology, etc.

If in my opinion nothing is happening then I am fully entitled to express my feelings.

Come off It Jonsey. What you really mean Is that FG has been a little lacking In spats, reported posts and members at each others throats of late.

Yet the answer to your post Is the same as when Gilly complained upon her return.

Too many watchers relying on the same members to post new threads for their entertainment. Those members who do really make the effort as Bruv eventually get so fed up with lack of replies that they give up. Ironically, I bet you there are some watchers even sitting their tutting about how some threads don't cater to their tastes and Interests while doing nothing to post something new. Some who even profess to care so much about the forum are often nowhere to be seen.

Then there Is those who because a member has dared to disagree with them In one thread, take It so personally that they stop posting In any of that members threads from there on.

Then there's the one's who bitterly complain that a member Is posting too much on one subject while doing bugger all themselves.

It's apathy because they believe that the members who do post regually will always post regually to keep the forum going for them. Yet when those members get so fed up with lack of responses and move on, then we have threads saying ' what's happened to so and so?'

If you think I'm wrong, then just look how many watchers there are on a thread when there's a spat.

That's when members move to other forums as Snooze has done.

Lady J... Snooze Is on Facebook and we tend to post each other stuff there. You really should bring the dog park to FG as I enjoy the pictures you take so much. You have a natural talent for capturing the moment.

Admittedly I haven't posted much just of late..

To be honest, I don't know what to post.. I think I have had most of it posted already..

People around me dying left right and center, my dad being dragged to court, my dad having a heart attack (which they now believe he has another blocked (small)artery somewhere, but can't find it), my brothers madness, my health and my pets..

I don't really have anything else to post about.. I don't want to repeat the same thing :wah:

My mind is all "posted" out for now.. I'll think of some other things to post soon, most likely..

I always love looking at the photo's you come up with though! I always pop in to see what everybody is up to

I wasn't attacking him. I like JJ. Don't wanna join his cult, or anything, but he's a likable sort, most of the time.

And right you are that you have a right to yer very own opinion, and can say whatever it is you like, you, with all them royal trappings and all. Yessir, you sure can go right to go ahead and say whatever it is you got on your mind, any time. Yessir, you just go right ahead, and say yer piece.

I ain't so high minded as yerself, an' all, but I have seen this sorta thing a time or two, and I know what it is I',m talkin' about, I do. So now, when I see's a pattern, I gotta just pipe up and point it out. Just sorta my nature.

Thank you Oscar. Photography has always been a passion of mine and I come of it naturally and then combine that with dogs....well who could ask for anything more! The Patrons at the Dpk swear I speak "dog." I don't know how to bring the dog park here as I have posted about the dog park with little to no response. I even set up an album on my Profile of dog park photos...... tell me if you have suggestions.

The Dpk is a GREAT Place! I can escape there to another world of four legged friends who race up to greet me and share their beauty with me. HAHAHAHA! And I get paid to do this! :wah:

Lady J Maybe just an ordinary thread under Pets and animals. Then you can update It as you take your pics. WE can comment also.
