Yes, I do have permission to share
British National Party
OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM NEW BNP LEADER
Dear *****
Many of you will already know me. For some years I have been the BNP National Organiser leading our street protests, for example demanding the restoration of capital punishment for the killers of Lee Rigby, while others will know me for my union work as a former president of the nationalist union Solidarity.
I am honoured to have been selected to replace Nick Griffin and lead the BNP in this exciting new era.
My leadership style is likely to be very different from that of my predecessor because we are very different people. I will be pleased to listen to Nick’s views alongside all the activists and supporters of the British National Party. Having taken those views into account I will make my own mind up and my own decisions.
My primary focus is reconnecting the BNP with the ordinary person in the street. That means that any extremist language or dogma is unwelcome. Nationalism is about promoting the interests of the people. The people are always right, and I want to build a popular and genuine nationalist alternative to the rotten old political parties without compromising any of our core BNP principles.
The BNP enjoys huge support from the British public and it’s my principal aim to convert that huge support into votes and real electoral success.
My message will be very much centred on those key concerns. As a former military man, I want to instil discipline, professionalism and careful planning in to all aspects of BNP work. I will be drawing on the energy and passion of all our members and supporters to assist me in my work.
I am the leader of the BNP, but in truth, the BNP is run by a team of which I am just the captain. Like a football team, we all have different roles but we all share a common goal, and like a football team we are in competition with other teams – in our case, the other political parties. We cannot afford to miss open goals, and it’s vital that we put the ball in the back of the net every time. We’re playing to win, and we want the title!
You’re going to be seeing a lot of me because I am someone who is very hands on, and who likes to lead from the front. It is an exciting time for me personally, and I hope this fresh start will provide people with the opportunity they need join our party – or to rejoin it.
In the coming months I will be listening to and drawing on the experience and knowledge of our BNP members and officials, and together we can move on to greater things.
Once again, I’m proud of the great honour of serving the fine members of the BNP in this role.

Looks like a nice guy...........
A BNP activist and former teacher who drove after three boys on bikes who he believed had been cheeky to him avoided a jail sentence yesterday.
Who is the BNP’s “soldier?
Asked if he was a real soldier, he admitted he wasn't. "I'm wearing this uniform in solidarity with our boys in Afghanistan," Walker said.
BNP teacher Adam Walker cleared of intolerance

" Been cheeky to him " ???? :yh_rotfl
That's one way of putting It.... but as usual with gutter press rags, not what actually happened.
Invariably, unless you know the person or have been In court for the trial, It is a perilous adventure to assume something Is so black and white.
Regardless, what does It matter ? The question Is... whether he's up to the job or not.

Fine words, but I could never trust anyone who actively joined the BNP, let alone anyone who went on to become such a notoriously facist party's leader.

I'm afraid that you may not get much support on this site, Oscar. Judging from the few comments so far !
BNP have got an awful lot of baggage to dispose of before they can successfully lure many people into the BNP movement. It will take a long time to get rid of the National Front history, and I've always said to you that Nick Griffin is doing the BNP no good, particularly when he is caught out by news cameramen in iffy situations and opening his mouth on other occasions and saying inappropriate things.
At least, I suppose, things may change with this new 'Head of State', but there again it does depend on how lucid he is during interviews and at public meetings, how knowledgeable he is and whether he can keep his mouth closed when he should, and not make verbal mistakes like Mr. Griffin had a weakness for doing occasionally !

Just a thought.............. how many people carry Stanley knives around with them as a matter of course ? I don't, my husband doesn't, even my son doesn't. In fact nobody I know carries a Stanley knife as a matter of course ! So why was this man carrying a Stanley knife ? The fact that he was cutting off bunting from his car may have been a reason, but I would have thought a pair of scissors would have been good enough for that ! I can just imagine what those youngsters said and did, as I'm afraid there is an awful lot of disrespect from many youngsters these days. Asking a teenage lad to not lean on your parked car is sufficient to receive a string of obscenities or worse from his foul mouth. But all this is still no excuse for a man to jump into his 4 x 4 and drive after teenagers like this man did. Of course you realise that this incident will go badly against Mr. Adam Walker for as long as he is in the public eye, and will be brought up every time there is an excuse to bring it up, so I hope for his sake that he can handle it all.

Read the links in my first post.
I think the BNP must have a death wish, unless of course he is the best they have got.

I totally disagree.
When the BNP reached their Zenith ie two MEP's and held over 100 Council seats, It was under the leadership of Nick Griffin.
The downfall of the BNP In subsequent years Is not down to Nick Griffin per say.
The latest downfall Is down to the leadership challenge by Andrew Brons and his camp with Andrew losing by just 4 votes. personally, I believe the party would have been far more effective and successful under Brons despite his NF roots.
You can't keep dragging up the NF as and when It suits. Most key figures In the BNP were not even born during those times and should not be labelled to suit. Parties evolve and the BNP has evolved since the 1970's as every other party evolves.
There was a split In the Internal workings of the BNP when Andrew Brons resigned as MEP for The Humber and started a new party, The British Democrats taking with him such key figures as Arthur Kemp. The BNP also lost Jim Dowsen and Paul Golding who started Britain First. They were Nick's downfall, not Nick Griffin or him opening his mouth.
They have no baggage to dispose of. The highest returns ever In the BNP came under Griffin's rule and he still remains President of the party. No-one wants to " dispose of Griffin's baggage" far from of It... they'd like to see a return when they had over 100 Council seats thanks to Griffin.
As for Adam's trial... like I said... unless you've ever been In the courtroom of some-one on trial then you should never believe a word you read In tabloids. Come on Gill... you know exactly what I mean !!!! I talked to Adam at length on the phone at the time of his arrest and trial because we had a lot In common. Let's just say, these were no Innocent little children being cheeky to him exactly the same as my trial.

It should also be noted that although not successful in Parliamentary elections, the Monster Raving Loony Party have not only won about 20 Council seats, but have even held some over the Conservatives. Something the BNP have never managed.

That Is absolutely not true...
Off the top of my head, two spring to mind... Dawn Charlton BNP won the Maryport seat beating Conservative and Paul Golding became the first BNP to win a council seat over Conservative In the South of England, Sevenoaks In Kent...
There are others. Brian Jenkins beat the Conservatives to take The Keynsham seat In Bristol
There are many many more

It's so way off beam, It's on another planet.
This article Is 6 years old but reflects what the BNP held In 2008
"The British National Party has shown solid steady growth in all areas of the country in the regions where local elections have been held, taking seats from mainly traditional Labour areas, as that party’s vote collapses everywhere.
Before today, the BNP held 84 council seats at all levels. With almost all results in, this figure has now reached 100, and could still exceed that number.
21st Century British Nationalism: 100 seats
According to this Wikki... they held 50

If I had time I would find and list every one of the 116 seats for you but sorry, I don't.

That's the same one I linked - it shows 2. However, after further consideration I think that refers to Current seats, seeing as further down it said how they had lost 12 seat in a single Borough.
What I find scary is that the general public are getting so exasperated with the state of things that they seem to be blinded to the other policies in favour of the forefront anti-immigration policies.
I must admit this passage from their manifesto made me laugh:
A further BNP policy is "to end the conflict in Ireland by welcoming Eire [sic] as well as Ulster as equal partners in a federation of the nations of the British Isles".
I'm sure Eire will welcome being accepted as part of the British Isles with open arms.

I'll be very Interested to see If Adam changes the Party Constitution but as I tried to explain to Gill, the BNP held 116 seats under Griffin's Totalitarian rule.
I think what Gill meant by losing the baggage was moving away from the grass roots and old policies but that's not how members think In general.
The BNP Is what It Is and It's done pretty well at their peak.
Whatever anyone thinks of Griffin, he Is a stalwart who has never veered In over 30 years. If the BNP ditched the so called baggage, quite simply, they'd not be the BNP but another UKIP who has tamed down the policies to be more appealing to middle England. The BNP will never do that. They don't want to be another UKIP.
Personally speaking, I like Adam Walker and he Is without doubt an excellent organizer but he has one hell of a job on his hands. I believe It will take him a decade to recover the Party to It's former glory.
The loss of seats In the last elections were not about the lack of votes by the public but the Inability to fund candidates In every ward.
the split with Andrew Brons saw thousands of members defect to Andrew's new Party but the loss of Jim Dowsen, the BNP cash cow who was based In Belfast was the defining point. One year, Dowsen raised 9 million for the BNP In just one year. he Is a mastermind at campaigning and raising funds. Without him and those funds, the BNP just didn't have the funds to stand candidates.
I would say that should be Adam's first task... raising the funds to stand candidates In every ward ready for the General Election.
