I had to go down & make my mark at the DWP this morning, and took a few minutes longer filling a declaration of doing voluntary work for Age UK. Then came out, only to find a ticket on my bike.
£25 Penalty (50% discount for payment within 14 days).
Of course anyone parking a car for any time it might be worth it - cheaper than paying the parking fees - not for about 15 minutes away from a moped though.

On what grounds? A moped still classes as a vehicle.
Besides I've already paid it.
Good job I won my Civil case against the git that nicked it (got a nice little cheque in the post on Monday. Paid it into the bank Wednesday. Cleared Thursday.
