Shortly after getting home from work today, despite there not being anything to do there, I was mentally exhausted & by about 19:00 I just had to get a couple of hours kip as I couldn't stay awake.

Then I was woken by the sound of the alarm on my watch, which I have set to Midnight to remind me of that being the time to get to bed in order to be up in the morning.

I am now rested after 5 hours sleep & ready for a new day - which won't start for another 6 hours, and right now there's little chance of my getting back to sleep for a while.

This is one of the problems of being on of Nature's Natural Nocturnals.

I'm an Owl also... my husband Is the complete opposite.

I've just written an agenda for a meeting Wednesday, I do all that work late at night. Dogs have settled for the night, husbands asleep and the house Is quiet... the best time.

I went back to bed at about 1:30 & still managed to get to sleep quite easily, and didn't wake up until the alarm went off at 6:15 - and even then I went through 2 x 9 min snoozes. I think I needed that sleep.

If your body is saying sleep then don't fight it :-)
